Would be Nice to have spurs home first game as we parade the trophy.

Rumours this morning are saying Bournemouth then Liverpool both away first 2 games

No club, ever gets two away games on the bounce, in the first two games of the season.

It's probably a safe bet that we won't be playing West Ham as our first game - home or away.

Is there any potential one of the 38 possible fixtures that hasn't been listed on this thread yet as "according to some"... "supposedly" being our opening fixture?

I'm going to pick one at random

ACCORDING TO NOBODY IT'S NEWCASTLE AT HOME FIRST GAME

Re: Premier league fixtures out on Thursday and other stuff
Would the authorities/media prefer West Ham or Newcastle playing in Europe the season after next (the 4 CL spots will be a given)? Neither Aston Villa or Brighton will sell enough Thursday evening advertising space, so they don't count.

How will the suits view Chelsea? Accepted back into the fold or forever tarnished with the (indirect) link to Putin?

A clue might be in whoever get the better chance to put points on the table early doors. Or what games are scheduled for a time where they are most likely to be called off.

Nailed on that the media have borrowed one of those supercomputers used to predict the weather and gone through every possible permutation of fixtures to determine which ones have the most (advertising) reach over the course of the season.

Those determined to sell more shirts and other sponsored goodies/media minutes will be set just before special occasions like Xmas.

Watch the Super Saturdays & Super Sundays line themselves up.
